マイクロソフト、Office 2007 SP2とODFの相互運用に関する技術情報を公開

　米国Microsoftは12月16日、「2007 Microsoft Office system（以下、Office 2007） Service Pack（SP）2」で、ODF（OpenDocument Format for Office Applications）をサポートするための詳細な技術情報を公開した。

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) have just published the joint International Standard, ISO/IEC 29500:2008, Information technology ? Document description and processing languages - Office Open XML file formats.

ISO/IEC 29500 is a standard for word-processing documents, presentations and spreadsheets that is intended to be implemented by multiple applications on multiple platforms. One of its objectives is to ensure the long-term preservation of documents created over the last two decades using programmes that are becoming incompatible with continuing advances in the field of information technology.

Office 2007の署名機能はとても良くできているので将来XAdESでも対応できるようになればなぁ、、、と思っているんですがOffice 2007で保存したドキュメントをOpen Documentに変換して保存したら「当然」署名はつけ直しですよね、、、、ちょっと面倒くさい、、、、、
